A message from the coaching staff at Blair Academy:

The Blair Rowing Team would like to invite all community members to come out Saturday afternoon, April 23rd to watch an intra-squad scrimmage and enjoy a barbecue put on by our parent group immediately following.   Since we have a weekend off from racing on Saturday, we thought it would be great to stage one of our practices as a race for the community to see.  We will race approximately 1500 meters, which is the standard racing distance at the high school level, and we will set up a “finish line” right by beach 2 so anyone who would like can view the racing.  Racing will begin around 2pm, with boats racing downstream, two at a time, every ten minutes or so, until about 3pm.  Please feel free to swing by and watch some racing, grab some food, and meet some of our athletes, coaches, and parents!  This is a great opportunity for you all to get an inside look at what these student-athletes train so hard for each day.  We have already been off to a great start to the spring season, winning our first race against our rival, the Peddie School down in Princeton this past weekend and we are so excited to continue training on this beautiful lake!  Thank you all for your support, we are so thankful to be a part of this wonderful community!  Results from our race last Saturday can be found on our website, or on the link below:

Dear PLA Members,

Believe it or not, boating season will be here before we know it…

For registration purposes, kayaks, paddle-boats, rowboats and canoes are considered boats along with power boats.  Registration forms can obtained from the Boat & Ski Club website.  The Paulinskill Lake Boat and Ski Club has moved to a new location on the web.  Be sure to out the new site.  https://paulinskillskiandboatclub.wordpress.com/
