We currently have 21,000 customers without power in the County. JCP&L has deployed several assets to our county to help expedite the restoration process. They are currently assessing damage both by helicopters and utilizing drone technology. The damage is very widespread and it will take some time in certain areas to restore power. We continue to ask everyone to prepare for extended outages.

Please check with your local municipalities for information regarding warming stations in your area.

Downed Trees

Please be aware that we have received several emails regarding downed trees, and/or trees on power lines. Please note that this is outside of the PLA’s jurisdiction. If you know of a tree that is on a power line, please call JCP&L directly 1-888-544-4877, as they will take down the information and schedule the according. We understand that frustration is building, and ask that you do not attempt to remove any tree touching power lines.
